Cumberland Hospital provides comprehensive medical, residential and psychiatric treatment for children and adolescents through three distinctive services lines. We offer children and adolescent psychiatric stabilization (ages 5-17), private residential treatment services that are divided between a unit designed for residents presenting with neurobehavioral issues (ages 7-17) and two units designed for patients presenting with behavioral and emotional issues who may have medical co-morbidities (ages 13-17), and inpatient hospital services are divided between three separate units based upon the patient’s diagnostic and/or acuity level (ages 6-17 with case-by-case review for ages 2-5 and 18-22). For our inpatient hospital services, we offer four distinct specialized inpatient services including Inpatient Rehabilitation/Medically Complex, Diabetes Management, RISE Eating Disorder Program, Healthy on Purpose Program, and Chronic Illness Program.
